Lockdown Learning

During these days of social distancing, self isolation, lockdown and school closures, it can be difficult to find simple but meaningful activities to educate and entertain children at home. I’ve put together a number of offerings for families and teachers to help.

I’ve sifted through the many websites, resources and activities available and collated the best ones on my Resources page.

Daily activity

I have posted 121 simple daily STEM activities on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. You’ll also find a few videos on YouTube.

Science Club

Online science clubs. Weekly videos and bumper investigations activity pack delivered direct to your inbox. More information or sign up here.

Online lessons

I’ve also been busy making online video lessons for STEM Learning. You can find a whole host of lessons from me for key stages 1 and 2 at www.stem.org.uk/remote-lessons

You’ll also find more ideas on my blog, including these kitchen science experiments in a guest blog post I wrote for British Science Week.
